Sounds like a lot of words, doesn't it: "five more than the difference of six times a number and the absolute value of fifteen"
First, let's break that phrase into bite sized pieces-- that's called parsing.
"five more than" : 5 +
"the difference of (six times a number) and (the absolute value of fifteen)" : (6n) - (|15|)
putting them together, you get: 5 + (6n - |15|)
