Assuming it's √(3x) Get the √(3x ) by itself:
√(3x) + 4 = 4 ===> √3x = 0
Square both sides and divide by 3
3x = 0
x = 0
If it's (√3) x + 4 = 4, not much different:
√(3x) + 4 = 4 ===> √3x = 0
Divide both sides by √3, and you get
x = 0
