Put the following functions into standard form by completing the square. Use proper notation throughout.

 
f(x)=3x2+x-10
 
I dont know what goes next after these two steps:
 3(x2+1/3x+(1/6)2-1/36)-10
 3((x+1/6)2-1/36)-10

We want:  f(x) = a(x-h)2 + k
 
Next step:
3(x+1/6)2 - 1/12 - 10
 
= 3(x+1/6)2 - 121/12
