Hard problem, discrete math.

If x+y+z=3 , x2+y2+z2=4, and x3+y3+z3=5 what is x, y, and z? I found that none of them can be equal or greater than 2.

Would you care to describe how the solution was obtained?
Was it via Mathematica or was it by hard work with pencil & paper?

I coud describe solution, but the question didn't ask how to solve. It easier by hand in paper.
Just I moved to a new system of coordinate shifting x, y znd z by 1, then it made easier to solve.
