         ( 2x      -    1 )(x      +       3 ) = 0

 

             x = 1/2   or  x = -3

 

 

 

2)     (  3x     -    1 )( x    +      5  ) = 0

 

              x = 1/3   or x = -5

 

 

 

3)      (7 - 3x)(x+2)  - 4 = 0

 

          7x - 3x^2 + 14 - 6x - 4 = 0

 

          -3x^2 + x + 10 = 0

 

           3x^2 - x - 10  = 0

 

         (  3x      +     5)( x    -      2  ) = 0

 

           x= -5/3  or x = 2
