7x - 8y = -80
Solve for y
-8y = -7x - 80
divide through by -8
y = (7/8)x + 10
Plug in a value for x and find the associated
y value. It will be easier to use multiples of 8.
x=0: y = 10 ... (0,10)
x=8: y = (7/8)(8) + 10 = 7+10 = 17 ... point (8,17)
There are two order d pairs on the line.
You can continue this method to find as
many ordered pairs as desired.
