Hi Holden from Fort Pierce, FL. Hope you're having a great weekend.
I am going to help you get started with your expression, but I won't answer it for you. I will help you understand how to do these kinds of problems, then you will know how to solve them.
Here is your problems:
(y4 + yz3 )(y2 + z3) Correct?
So, now you will need to incorporate the FOIL concept (First, Outer, Inner, Last)
so first multiple the 1st two values:
First values (y4) x (y2) = ?1
Outer values (y4) x (z3) = ?2
Inner values (yz3) x (y2) = ?3
Last values (yz3) x (z3) = ?4
The final products will be: ?1 + ?2 + ?3 + ?4 =
Let me know if you have any further issues. Remember, it would be to easy to just give you the answer, then to show you how to solve these so that when you see these kinds of problems again, you know how to solve them.
Contact me on Wyzant if you have further problems.
