Use Snells's Law of Refraction:
n·sin(θ) = n'sin(θ')
where:
- n = refractive index of the starting medium (air) = 1.0003
- θ = the angle of incidence = 0.7 radians
- n' = refractive index of the second medium (transparent solid) = 2.5
- θ' = angle of refraction in the second medium (transparent solid)
Plug in the numbers and solve for θ'.
