7Y - 3X = 49    

 

7Y - 3(Y +9) = 49

 

7Y - 3Y - 27 = 49

 

4Y - 27 = 49

 

4Y = 76

 

Y = 19

 

X = 19 + 9 = 28

 

 7*19 - 3 * 28 = 133 - 84 = 49
