a) if parallel to x+6y = 2, our slope will be -1/6 (same slopes), so y-4 = (-1/6)(x+3) using Point Slope form.
b) if perpendicular, our slope must be 6 (negative reciprocal of line to which we're //). Answer is similar to that given in a above, but different slope is coefficient on right side of equation.
