The German Club is planning a ski trip. The club will pay $500 toward the trip, and each member going on the trip will play $115. Write an equation that represents the number of club members going on the trip if the total trip costs $2,685.
Use "n" as the variable.

115n + 500 = 2685.

 

That wasn't so hard, was it?  (If you solve it, n had better be an integer.)
