Point A(1,3) coordinates: x1=1, y1=3, and point B(4,6) coordinates: x2=4, y2=6
x2-x1=4-1=3, and y2-y1=6-3=3
The coordinates to divide AB in the ratio 2:1 would be coordinates of point A plus 2 for both x, and y-axis.
x=1+2=3, and y=3+2=5. So it's point C(3,5)
