multiplying complex numbers

(-1+2i)(-5+3i)

 

 

having trouble on this one, please show me step by step and the answer. Thank you so much. I appreciate it

Use the regular FOIL process for multiplying two binomials. When you get a term having i squared as a factor, change that i squared to negative one, then combine the real & imaginary parts to get the result into the form a + i b.  EASY!
