F(X)=(3X-1) / (X-5).
you are probably being asked to write F(a+h); that is [3(a+h) - 1] / [a+h-5]
and this could be simplified, by applying the distributive property in the numerator..
F=(a+h) should have been written as F(a+h), correctly.
