What is 6^2÷2 (3)+4, and why?

I say 58, others argue 10. However, since the 2 & 3 are not both in parenthesis, I believe you go in natural order, left to right,  and division would supercede multiplication.

I agree with both of you regarding application of PEMDAS to this problem, giving 58.  But I have seen postings where the order in this type of problem is interpreted as
 
6^2÷[2(3)]+4,
 
which in that case gives 10.  It looks like not all follow PEMDAS, while some interpret it differently, providing conflicting guidance to the student.
