If a gas has a volume of 290 cubic inches under a pressure of 15 pounds per square inch, what will be its volume if the pressure is increased to 17 pounds per square inch? (Round off your answer to the nearest cubic inch.)

290 =C/15.

 

C = 290 x 15 = 4350

 

V = 4350/P
