Hi Imari...   just get x by itself, in two steps:  

(1) Subtract 4 from 4-6x.  And we have to also do that to the other side of the equation, to keep it balanced and both sides equal:  4-6x-4 = 82-4;   now 6x = 78

(2) Now we can divide both sides of the equation by 6, to get x by itself:  6x/6 = 78/6;  now x = 13
