You will need an INVERTER, an AND gate and an OR gate for the circuit.
No drawing capability on this platform, so let me try this
- P→ inverter → ¬P
- ¬ P and Q at inputs of an AND gate → ¬ P∧Q
- P and ¬ P∧Q at inputs of an OR gate → P∨¬ P∧Q
The final circuit is simple with only 3 logic components.
If you did not simplify the original f(x,y, z), imagine how many logic components
that you will need and how complicate your circuit would look like to do the same function.
