Jamie is trying to measure distance between 2 lakes shown on a map calculate the distance to the nearest meter?

The diagram given is a triangle and it appears the lakes are at the ends of "c squared" . we r given vales for sidea a and b/ so we used info given: a sq. + b sq. = c sq. a = 245 + b = 198 60025+39204=sq. root of 99229 c~ 315 meters

I meant a+ b2 = c2
          245+1982 = ?
 
          60025+ 39204= 999229(sq. root of this number)
        
            c2 = 999229
            c= 315 meters
