The Crafting speed discount % (138%) The Finished time once the Crafting Speed Bonus is applied is (1514 sec). What is the original time?

Basically I have a game, in the game there is a "Crafting speed discount %" that takes time off the crafting of an item. (138%) I also have the "discounted time" it will take to craft the item once the "Crafting speed bonus" is applied (1514 seconds is the Discounted time) I need to find out what the "original time" without the "crafting speed bonus" would be... does that make sense?

 

I need help knowing how to find this, and if it is possible. I seem to be able to figure out what number 1514 is 138% of...but i cannot find the original time...HELP if possible...

To find the number, t, that 1514 is 138% of:

 

(1.38)t = 1514                      [1.38 is the decimal equivalent of 138%]

 

t = 1514/1.38 = 1097.1 sec

 

Since 138% > 100%, it's not what I'd call a "discount."
