separate the 2equations
5x+y= 30
5x+2y= 30
multiply first equation by -1
-5x-y=-30
5x+2y=30
Add the equations
0x +y=0
or. y=0
if y=0, 5x+0=30. so 5x=30, divide by 5, therefore, x=6. answer: (6, 0)

5x+y=0
5x+2y=30
mult first equation by -1
-5x-y=0
5x+2y=30
add the equations
y=30
therefore 5x + 30= 0
subtract 30. 5x=-30. divide by 5. x=-6. so the answer is (-6,30)
