As x -> infty, we can ignore the 5x in the numerator and the 3x² and 2 in the denominator because they will be much lower then the other parts. 

So the equation turns into lim x-> infty 4x³/8x⁴=1/2x -> 0.

 

You can also use L'Hopitals rule if you know it.
