Given the information in the problem:

1. Since Amanda sells 5 magazines per week, in 24 weeks Amanda would be able to sell:

5 x 24 = 120 magazines

2. If each magazine costs \$25, then 120 magazines would give a total sale of:

120 x \$25 = \$3000

3. Since Amanda earns 15% of her sales, then she would earn:

\$3000 X .15 = \$450 where 15% = 15/100 = .15

Alright let's take this step by step.  First lets find out how much Amanda makes for selling a single subscription.  We can do that as follows:

\$25 * .15 = \$3.75   (15% = 15/100 = .15)

Next she sells 5 subscriptions each week.  Each week she earns:

\$3.75 * 5 = \$18.75

Finally she will do this for 24 weeks:

\$18.75 * 24 = \$450
