You need at least learn how to write the problem properly, so you know what is asking you to find out.
May be this is the problem:
(X^3 Y / Y ) . ( 1/ (2X-2) ) =
X^3/( 2x - 2 )
Doesn't seem to be a problem, that you can only cross out 2 Y's .
