write the time of 15 seconds out of 2 minutes as a fraction

please help me with this question for maths. I am very stuck.

there are 60 seconds in a minute

2 minutes is 2(60) = 120 seconds

 

15 seconds out of 2 minutes

= 15/120

= 15(1)/15(8)

= 1/8
