It is always easier to solve this type of problems by setting them up as fractions. You have two pieces of information in the beginning. 2 hours and 15 miles per hour. For 15 miles per hour, it means the same thing as 15 miles per 1 hour, and per can be written as divide.

Looking at the picture above, you can always cancel matching numerators with denominators. The unit "hour" can be cancelled. So all you would have left is 2 times 15 miles, which will result in 30 miles.
So now the problem becomes how long it will take Shannon to cover 30 miles at a speed of 10mi/h.
