The sum of the digits of a number is 26. Find the smallest number that should be added to the number to make it divisible by 9?

For a number to be divisible by 9, the sum of the digits should be divisible by 9.

 

26 is not divisible by 9 but 27 is.

 

If we add 1 to the original number, we'll have 27 and the original number +1 will be divisible by 9.
