The angle subtended to the circumference of a circle by the diameter is equal to a right angle (90 degrees)
Hence when two such triangles are drawn they form diagonals of equal length (the diameter) of a quadrilateral with all four internal angle being 90 degrees
Therefore the quadrilateral so formed must be a rectangle.
