whats (x^2)-9x+4 factored?

I can't find two numbers that multiply to get four and add to be nine... i need help

As the determinant (b^2 - 4ac ) ^ 1/2 is not an integer, this question does not have an integer solution.

x^2-9x+4 does not factor. There are two other approaches to obtain solutions, which are using the quadratic formula or completing the square. Either way, you will get ugly answers.

Is there a context involved, like an equation?  I'm not seeing how this can be factored either, unless you break up the -9x and find yourself with something like (x - 2)² + 5x.  You *can* do that, by making it -4x - 5x, move the -5x off to the side and then factor what's left.
