Maria started a bank account in March. The amount of money that she had in April was $4600. The amount of money she had is May was $5125. The amount of money she had in June was 5650. Sorry, My question says 4600 dollars in April. And thank you for notifying your concern on my my question, The amount of money (5,125 dollars) in may represents the total amount of money that Maria has saved in the bank in May
5,650 is the total amount of money Maria has saved in the bank in june. Basically, it means that every month, Maria puts 525 dollars in her bank. I am just confused in transforming it into an equation, but I hope my clarification helps.

Thank you for your time ,though, I have one teeny little comment. That is the same answer I got at first but when I showed it to my teacher, he said that the 4,600 part for the equation is incorrect. Then I thought to myself, if 4,600 is the starting value of the money Maria deposits in the bank in April yet x represents the number of months, then that means that you would not be able to write 0 for x(# of months) because April is the first month. Does that mean that it would be some other number other than 4600?
If my comment is a bit confusing, what I am trying to say is that April is our beginning balance yet its our first month. So what would I write instead of 4600?

Wouldn't it make sense to do this...
4600-525= 4075
and use 4075 as your starting balance?
