easiest way to graph the line is plot the 2 intercepts and connect them with a line
solve for y = x/2 -5/2 constant term is the y intercept + -5/2 = point (0, -2.5)
to find x intercept, solve for x and the constant term = the x intercept
x= 2y +5, x intercept = 5 = (5,0)
the decide which side of that dotted line is part of the graph, try the origin (0,0) 0 -2(0) < 5
so shade all the area to the left and below the dotted line. Put some arrows pointing left and down to indicate the shaded area goes on forever
