Graph the linear inequality by shading the feasibility region 8x-3y≤ 12

Can someone explain the formula I should use ?

8x - 3y ≤ 12

       -3y ≤ -8x + 12

           y ≥ (8/3)x - 4

 

Hopefully you know how to graph the line. It'll be solid because of the "or equal to". Shade everything above the line. To check, pick any point on the line or in the shaded area, plug it in and make sure it works.
