We know that the diameter is 24 ft and the depth (or height in this case) is 5 ft
Diameter is 2 x radius so D=2r 24=2r r=12
a)Plug this information into the equation:
V= pi x 12^2 x 5
V= pi x 144 x 5
V= 2260.8 ft^3 = 2261 ft^3
b) 7.48 gal = 1 ft^3
2260.8 ft^3 x 7.48 gal/ 1ft^3 = 302 gal of water in the pool
