I make difficult math fun, interesting, and easier.
Solve for a means to rewrite the equation so that it starts a=.
Since this equation starts 9a=, we need to remove the 9.
What is the 9 doing to the a? 9a means 9 multiplied by a, so the 9 is multiplying the a.
To remove the 9, we have to do the opposite of what it is doing to the a.
The opposite of multiplying is dividing.
We therefore have to divide 9a by 9, and do the same to the other side of the equation.
So we also have to divide c by 9.
So 9a/9 = c/9
And 9a/9 = 9/9 *a = 1 * a = a.
So a = c/9.
