So we need to find the slope first:
m = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)
m = (-4 - (-5)) / (-5 - 5)
m = (-4 + 5) / -10
m = -1/10
There are a couple of ways to solve the next step. I happen to prefer the point-slope formula:
y - y1 = m(x - x1)
y - (-5) = -1/10 (x - 5)
y + 5 = -1/10 x + 1/2
y = -1/10 x - 4 1/2
