if a trapezoid plus a circle equal a triangle how do we know that a triangle minus a trapezoid equals a square

trapezoid plus circle equals triangle means triangle minus trapezoid equals square

Comment is working.

Let do this simply. Let "T" represent trapezoid, " O" for circle and "?" for triangle.

Then  T + O = ?  now, if you subtract T from each side of the equation

T - T + O = ? - T   gives  O = ? - T .

So, triangle minus trapezoid is circle not square.

This is a simple algebraric equation.

You may be ask about the indirect froof of above given conclusion.
