Let       w = width of rectangle

Let w+80 = length ... (80 more than the width)

 

    2W + 2L = 900

    2(w) + 2(w+80) = 900

    2w + 2w +160 = 900

    4w = 900 - 160

    4w = 740

    w = 185

 

The width is 185, the length is 265
