Note that 2x-4 = 2(x-2). Then
sin(2x-4) / (x-2) = sin[2(x-2)] / (x-2)
Multiply by 2/2 and get
sin(2x-4)] / (x-2) = 2sin[2(x-2)] / [2(x-2)]
Let w = 2(x-2)
Then sin(2x-4) / (x-2) = 2 sin(w) / w
Then limit as x→2 of sin(2x-4) / (x-2) = limit as w→0 [2sin(w) / w]
Are you familiar with limit as w→0 of sin(w) / w = 1?
Use that to get a final limit of 2 for the initial expression.
