The midpoint formula tells us that
the midpoint for (x1,y1), (x2,y2) = [(x1+x2)/2 , (y1+y2)/2]
x1 = -8
(-8+x2)/2 = 9
-8+x2 = 18
x2 = 26
y1 = -3
(-3+y2)/2 = 10
-3 + y2 = 20
y2 = 23
The end point is (26, 23)
NOTE: That is by the formula... but there is a simpler logical method
For the x coordinates we moved -8 t0 9 to reach the halfway point.
That is a distance of 17. We should move 17 more to get to the end point.
9 + 17 = 26
For the y coordinate we moved from -3 to 10 to get to the halfway point.
That is a distance of 13. 10 + 13 = 23
Endpoint: (26, 23)
