Find the median of all positiv odd multiples of 3 which are less than 55.

List these numbers from least to greatest.

 

3, 9, 15, 21, 27, 33 , 39 , 45 , 51

 

 

Notice that each succeeding number is added to 6.

 

Find the number in the middle to find the median. If the number of terms in this list is even, then you will take the average of the 2 middle numbers to find the median.
