Convert 8 millimeters to fluid ounces

How to find the answer

Hi Jaron!  Unfortunately, millimeters is a unit of length and fl. oz. is a unit of weight (which can be converted to volume if the density of the material is known).  So there is no direct conversion between them.  It would be like trying to convert seconds to meters.  It cannot be done without more information linking the two.  Is this 8 mm of some substance in particular?  Is it in a certain container so that its depth relates directly to how much material there is?  We would need more information to solve this.

For example, converting seconds to meters does not make sense.  But if you add more information, that you are dealing with a car traveling 20 meters per second, then you could convert a number of seconds the car travels into a number of meters it travels in that time.  Is there anything like that here?  Just let us know, and we will be glad to help more.
