^ this is the order of operations!! It means "PEMDAS" or "parentheses -> exponents -> multiply/divide -> add/subtract"

 

So to answer your question: (3+7)(6-3)²  we have to solve Parentheses --> exponents --> multiplication

 

Step 1: solve everything inside the parentheses and rewrite 

(3+7) = 10 ; (6 - 3) = 3

 

Rewrite: (10)(3)² 

 

Step 2: solve the exponential term and rewrite

(3)² = 3 x 3 = 9

 

Rewrite: (10)(9)

 

Step 3: solve the multiplication

(10)(9) = 10 x 9 = 90

 

That's it! The answer is 90 !
