Because no one should have to say, "I was never any good at math."
The multiples of 16 are
16, 32, 48, 64, 80, 96 ....
The multiples of 80 are
80, 160, 240, 320 .....
The first [LEAST] of the MULTIPLES that they have in COMMON is 80.
"The LCM is 80."
Since the LCM is the larger number, the smaller number is a factor of the larger number.
"What this means about 16 is that 16 is a factor of 80."
