There are some right triangles that you will see very often in homework, on tests, etc. This is because they make calculations easy. So, start to look for them.
This triangle is half of a square (note that two sides are equal). Also, it is a right triangle because 32 + 32 = (3√2)2 = 18. The fact that the Pythagorean Theorem is true makes this a right triangle.
So, this triangle is n, n, n√2 for side lengths and 45°, 45° and 90° for angles.
