h=-5(t+0.1)(t-3.5) how would i find the maximum height of the question ?

h = -5(t² - 3.4t - 0.35) = -5t² + 17t + 1.75

 

Use the vertex formula:

 

t = -b/(2a) = -17/(2·(-5)) = 1.7 seconds.

 

Plus this into the formula for h and simplify. The answer is 16.2 m.
