Conditional Probability & The Multiplication Rule

Question

What is the probability that a rolled die is a 3 given that it is:

a) odd?
b) even?


I really don't understand this, and how to solve this using conditional probability and the multiplication rule. Any help would be much appreciated! I honestly feel like the wording of the question is confusing me or I am overthinking it.

If roll a die and it is even (2, 4, 6) then the probability it is a three is zero.  If it is odd (1, 3, 5) then the probability is 1/3.
