Let h = the height of the Arkansas Capitol building. The ratio of the heights to the lengths will be equal, so
288/752 = h/564.
Solve for h by cross-multiplying:
752h = 288 · 564 = 162432
h = 162432/752 = 216 feet.
The Arkansas Capitol building is 216 feet tall.
A final note: You do not need to apologize for what happened to you in high school. Almost nobody gets through high school these days without messing something up. Those of us who tried not to mess up and mess around (and I count myself one of them), usually end up being boring and unemployed math professors with unimpeachable ethical standards and few friends. We all learn from our mistakes and that is how we grow up. Just keep at it and you'll get what you need to be successful.
