p represents the number of pages.
A: 200 + 0.4p
B: 300 + 0.1p
A = B
200 + 0.4p = 300 + 0.1p
0.4p = 100 + 0.1p subtract 200 from both sides
0.5p = 100 subtract 0.1p from both sides
p = 200 divide both sides by 0.5
At 100 pages the cost is the same.
