The inverse of a number is its reciprocal. If it is a whole number with no obvious denominator give it a 1 as the denominator.
I suppose you're are trying to find the inverse of 3 different things here 2, +1, and x + 2
2/1 is the same as 2 so the inverse is 1/2
You can do the same with the others, even x+2
(x+2)/1 inverse = 1/(x+2)
