Pre Calculus question on homework, really struggling

A hangar is formed of a half cylinder with a rectangular base and two open, semicircular ends. The curved roof costs $7 per ft2 to build. Find an expression that represents the cost per volume of the hangar (dollars/ft3) to build the curved roof. Your cost should be a function of the radius r of the semicircular end. (Round your answer to the nearest decimal place.)

cost per cubic foot = $??? ($/ft^3)

I've tried everything

If I reduce the fraction wouldn't the answer be  14r? It doesn't give a value for r which is why I'm confused that it says to round your answer to the nearest decimal place.. Thank you for your help so far

14r is correct. Is this an online question that asks you to type in an answer?

Does it let you type in 14r?

I can try, but you lose points each time and I only have one try left, so I'm afraid to do it, haha

If you're sure you're not given a value of r I don't know what else you can do.

It says the answer is supposed to be a function of r. If you find out where we went wrong let me know.

I notice you posted this question 2 other times without the part that says to round the answer.

I will let you know. Yeah, I didn't think that part was important because once I got the answer I could always just round it myself.
